Birthday treats and where to find them!

Loyalty and rewards - how businesses look after their customers.

These days business is tough.  There are so many companies wanting our business, there is so much competition around and it is very easy for buyers to compare prices via the internet.  Forward thinking companies understand that they need to expand their reach and get plenty of new leads while keeping their existing customers happy.  I was told that the likelihood of a new lead buying from a company is about 5% whereas an existing customer is about 75% more likely to buy again.

This means that lots of companies will try and reward customer loyalty.  It is easy to do this with regular small offers or special big ones - for example when it is your birthday.

Internet trading companies collect lots of data about us - including, often, our date of birth.  This means that the savvy ones can act on this and offer birthday treats.

I recently had a birthday and here is a list of the friendly companies that sent their good wishes together with an offer... I've also added links to their websites, in case you want to let them know when your big day is!

(You will probably notice that there are a lot of Italian restaurants represented here...)
